Marmite Bread

A colleague came into the kitchen this morning and asked us if we had a recipe for marmite bread. He had bought some from his local bakers and really wanted to make some in his Panasonic bread maker.

He was really pleased to return to the kitchen four hours later to be greeted with the delicious smell of marmite bread! You will either love it or you will hate it so here is the recipe!

1 tsp yeast

500g strong white flour

1 1/2 tsp sugar

2 tbsp oil

1 1/4 tsp salt

2 tbsp marmite dissolved in 350ml water

Dissolve the marmite in 100 ml of very hot water and then add cold water to make it up to 350ml
